We just got back from a fun trip to California. My sister was blessing their baby so we made a fun family trip out of it. On Saturday we took the kids to Ventura beach, which was Mason's first time, and Preslie was only 14 months the last time we went. They had fun running and playing in the water. Mason got a little concerned when the wave would receed and the sand would start to leave under his feet. They have a big ship there on shore that has a zip line and Paige and Morgan had fun on that. 
Sunday after church we jetted over to Chris's, (my bro in law) parents house. His mom made sugar cookies for all the kids to decorate and put me in charge, which lasted for about 2 seconds because Steve, Chris's dad, took over, which was so dang cute. (Abbey is his first grandkid so having older kids around was way exciting for him). Chris's parents are really nice and sweet.
Then it was off to Disneyland on Monday...YAHOO!! Preslie had a blast with my dad, he was her little buddy of the day. And Mason talked about the "pirate ride" aka Pirates of the Caribbean all the way home. He loved all the rides and wants to go back. My dads wife Ginny bought Abbey her first mickey ears, which was a black beanie with ears on it. She looked so dang cute!! Not only that but she and my Dad paid for all of us to go and bought my kids and my brothers kids t-shirts. How awesome is that!!! We had fun staying with my sister too and her hubby and new little one, and Mason slept soooo good there, which he is back to not doing here..GRRRR. I can't wait to go and visit again, I miss my family there and so much has changed with the home town, so much growth. I did see Kirby Heybourne at church. He's the one from singles ward one and two and the RM.
